STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC)

SSC is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.

SSC currently functions as an autonomous body that is mainly engaged in conducting competitive exams for recruitment to various posts in the SSC departments, organizations. In the previous years, SSC has conducted various exams as given below

1. SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL)

2. SSC CHSL

3. SSC GD Constable

4. SSC Multitasking

5. Scientific Assistant Post

6. Central Police Organization (CPO)

Combined graduate Level (CGL)

Combined Graduate Level Examination, often referred to as SSC CGL is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various posts in ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting staff for various Group B and Group C posts.

Eligibility

Candidates applying for the various posts need to have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university at the time of applying. Age of the candidate must be between 18 and 32 years (depending upon post applied)

Exam Structure: The examination consists of a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main examination.
